Pensioners' Christmas Party

Friday 13th December saw St John Bosco hold its annual Pensioners Christmas party. Over 80 of our local residents were treated to a fabulous three course meal with wine, mince pies and coffee. The silver service was provided by our very own sixth form students, with the ubiquitous Mrs Jenkins leading the excellent entertainment. Mrs Jenkins' carol singing was interspersed with individual and group performances from our sixth form students, followed by the all important bingo and raffle.

The afternoon was finished off with a rendition from the bagpipes, as the satisfied guests departed with their free goody bag. Judging by the happy faces and lovely comments, we expect to see you all again next year in the new school!
