6th Form Welcome Mass

Father Michael welcomed the 6th  Form into their fantastic new building and academic year, with a truly inspirational and thought provoking Mass. The 6th Form choir were outstanding as always, with their leading of hymns and renditions of modern songs. The Mass was superbly supported  by members of every form, who were exemplary with their contributions to the readings, offertory and prayers. It was such a pleasure to see students who in previous years had lacked the confidence to participate in whole school collective worship, leading by example. It was equally pleasing to see new members of our community from the LFC Football Foundation, embracing our Salesian ethos. The whole 6th form were impeccable throughout and it was a wonderful experience to see them undertaking Mass in the very heart of the school, during the normal day. As a surprise to celebrate 50 years as a Salesian, Father Michael received a presentation at the end of Mass, to show our appreciation and mark such a momentous occasion . A big well done and thank you to all involved but in particular, Father Michael,Miss Quirk, Miss Murphy, Miss Finnegan, Miss Roberts and Mr Cowley, for ensuring the first Mass in our new school was such a memorable occasion.
