Primary Students discover ‘A Whole New World’ whilst performing to sell out audiences!
Our KS3 and Primary Production this year was a huge hit, Miss Burns worked with four primary schools to bring to life ‘Friend Like Me’ inspired by Disney’s Aladdin.
Miss Burns said ‘I had the privilege of working with each of the 4 primary schools. They have been working incredibly hard since rehearsals started in January. The schools had one hour a week to learn lines, dance routines and get to know their characters’
The schools came together for two full days here at St John Bosco Arts College to put together the whole production, the children have met new people, experienced life in a secondary school, worked with our staff and children but most importantly made some fantastic memories.
We have been so impressed with the way in which all of the primary students have taken on their roles professionally and worked alongside Miss Burns to bring life to the magical story of ‘Friend Like Me’
The cast of St John Bosco were also outstanding, they welcomed the primary students and made them feel at home. Without even knowing they have become role models.
Special thank you to Mrs Finnegan who worked with our wonderful production choir from Barlows Primary and to Miss Roberts.
Well done and thank you to all the cast for making this production a fun and enjoyable processSt Alberts, St Matthews, Barlows and St Teresa of Lisieux
