Healthy Schools Award

The National Healthy Schools Programme (NHSP) is a joint Departmentof Health and Department for Children, Schools and Families project intended toimprove health, raise pupil achievement, improve social inclusion and encourage closer working between health and education providers in the United Kingdom. At St John Bosco Arts College,  Mrs Tracey Mathias has been working closely for a number of years  to promote an holistic approach to living a healthylifestyle. Mr Stephen Tiffany, children's health and Well-being, Senior School improvement officer,  visited St John Bosco Arts College this month to present the Healthy Schools Award for 2014-17. The College is delighted to receive this award and looks forward to working closely with the Healthy School Programme to ensure the best provision, support and advice is available for all their students.
