During the last half term, as part of our citizenship studies and during our assemblies, students at St John Bosco have been considering the issues presented by the EU Referendum to be held in June. Students have had the opportunity to take part in a debate with their peers and have all attended an assembly where members of our 6th form presented and outlined the benefits and drawbacks of both staying part of the EU and leaving the EU. A vote was held across the school and the results are in. 82% of our student body voted NO to leaving the EU. Students really enjoyed the debate that took place and the opportunity to vote and have their voice heard.
