On Tuesday 2nd February Year 9 students had the opportunity to visit Cadbury’s world. The students had a tour of the factory and listened to the history, heritage and information about the chocolate making process.
During the visit the students enhance their knowledge to help with their current project on nutrition and food packaging. Students were able to see the chocolate being packaged, the types of materials used and the essential information that has to be included on the packaging.
The Students also had a tour of the factory during which they learned about the history of the company, the creation of the factory and the Bournville Village by the Cadbury brothers. The students really enjoyed the visit and were delighted to be able to taste test the chocolate.
