Today, 10th February, is Safer Internet Day!
It is an important day that reminds us how to stay safe when we are using the internet. Whether you are playing games, reading online, or watching YouTube, it is important to know how to use the internet wisely.
Being e-safe means protecting yourself and others online. This includes keeping your personal information private, such as your full name, address, or school, using strong passwords, and only talking to people you know and trust. If something online makes you feel uncomfortable or confused, it is always okay to tell a trusted adult.
This day also falls during Mental Health Awareness Week, which gives us a double reminder that E-Safety Day is not just about staying safe, but also about being kind. Just like in real life, words online matter. Sending positive messages and thinking before you post can help make the internet a happier place for everyone.
