Parents

Our purpose, is to help our students find theirs. To assist students we have created a full school careers plan (which can be found on our main careers page here) with a list of the outcomes we wish to achieve. That way you can track your child’s journey throughout school.

We understand how important careers decisions are. Therefore this page is designed to assist you with that process - by providing you with a range of resources that can help you. If you wish to arrange a careers appointment with James Ridgeway our independent careers advisor. Please contact us 0151 330 5142 or email at adam.powell@stjohnbosco.org.uk.

Careers Advice is not just for Young People, Parents/Carers also need support to help young people make tough and challenging decisions. Careers advice for Parents is a website that has been set up by careers professionals and recommended by the UK Career Development Institute. ‘Careers Advice for Parents aims to give you an easy-to-read overview of all the essential facts on finding jobs and apprenticeships or choosing further and higher education courses which could make a real difference to your child’s future career prospects.’
