As well as offering training and support across their alliance, teaching schools will identify and co-ordinate expertise from within their alliance, using the best leaders and teachers to:

• Play a greater role in training new entrants to the profession
• Lead peer-to-peer Continuing Professional and Leadership Development
• Provide strategic school improvement support for other schools
• Designate System Leaders and broker their support
• Engage in research and development
