Mathematician of the Term

Mathematicians have literally changed the world.
Each term we focus on a different famous mathematician and run a competition. Our pupils are encouraged to research the mathematician and then produce a poster, a leaflet or a model detailing their life, and their contribution to maths and the world!

Previous Mathematicians of the Term include, Katherine Johnson, Florence Nightingale, Albert Einstein, Brian Cox, Ada Lovelace and many more!

We work with departments across the school to make sure the winning entries are grammatically correct and factually accurate, and the very best entries receive prizes and certificates and their work is displayed around the school.
