With the event now in its 14th year, the 2025 awards ceremony took place at the awe-inspiring Liverpool Cathedral on Friday 14 November 2025. Nominations for the prestigious education awards continue to grow at an exponential rate each year, making the competition even tougher.
This award celebrates secondary schools that have developed exceptional arts provisions and opportunities during the academic year, through school productions or arts-led projects.

High levels of student participation in arts activities, from creation to performance
Original and standout arts projects or performances that capture the imagination
Collaboration between students, teachers, and external artists or organisations
Integration of the arts into the broader curriculum
Projects that allow children to take ownership, showcase their talents and use their creativity
Community involvement, such as performances for parents, local events, or partnerships with local organisations
Celebrating diversity and inclusion through the arts
St John Bosco arts college has shown how the school’s arts initiatives have inspired creativity, boosted student confidence, and created a sense of achievement. Judges were looking for an event, project, or commitment with the WOW factor.
