Christmas Card Competition Winner 2024

This year there was a competition for students to design this year’s official school Christmas card. Students could design a card in any medium that reflected the traditional Christmas story and included the St John Bosco Arts College school badge.

It was a fierce festive competition with students’ submitting a variety of designs, from drawings and collages to mixed media and 3D creations. A huge thank you goes to all the talented artists from all years that took the time to create beautiful and joyful artworks that are on display in the SJB Library gallery.

The judges took into consideration the competition criteria, artistic merit and after a difficult deliberation decided that the winner is… Year 11 student Gabriella D!

As the winner, Gabriella received a special edition copy of The Girl of Ink and Stars by Kiran Millwood Hargrave, a Christmas tree pen and a selection box of chocolates. Gabriella’s design will feature on the front of the official Bosco Christmas Card, well done!
