Families, friends, and staff gathered to share the moment - a fitting send-off for a group who have spent the past two years showing commitment, resilience, and a real love of learning. Their hard work has paid off, with students now set to take their next steps into a wide range of destinations, from university to degree apprenticeships.
Among the many success stories, Lois Murphy achieved an outstanding AAB and will take up her place at the University of Liverpool to study Archaeology. Demi-Leigh Woods is also celebrating after achieving a Distinction* and Double Distinction, securing a prestigious Law degree apprenticeship at Edge Hill University.
Miss Charlotte Lyon, Head of Sixth Form, said:
“Results Day is always a highlight for me – it’s such a privilege to see our students’ joy when their hard work pays off. At St John Bosco, we aim not only for academic excellence, but also to help our young people grow into confident, responsible adults. Today, we’ve seen that vision realised.”
Headteacher Mr Darren Gidman added:
“It has been wonderful to celebrate with our Year 13 students today. This cohort has flourished, supported every step of the way by dedicated staff. As a Salesian community, we take pride in caring for each other and helping each individual reach their potential. We wish the Class of 2025 every success in the exciting journeys ahead – and we can’t wait to hear about what they do next.”
