Celebrating the skills and talents of our school community is always a pleasure and we were lucky enough to enjoy an evening with our very talented musicians. Showcasing a range of instruments, the audience were blown away by the quality of performances and confidence of the students involved.
A few highlights of the evening were the School Choir, performing songs from their Catholic Choir competition repertoire, both the woodwind and brass ensembles as well as our Year 10 Music class who performed an ensemble piece. Solo performances included, Lebone, Charlotte, Aniela and Alex, all of whom have achieved a National Qualification for their individual instruments this year.
Phoebe gave a fantastic performance as she sang her own composition and there were also performances from Gabriella on electric guitar and Maisy on the Piano.
Mrs Finnigan, Head of Music, reflected after the performance saying “I am so impressed with the hard work and dedication of the students. Taking part in a performance either as part of an ensemble or soloist is always hard but our students this evening have performed beautifully, and I couldn't be prouder of them”.
This was an inspiring evening celebrating music in a range of styles. Enjoyed by family and friends and celebrating the students and their talents.
