The A-Level English Lang/Lit course draws on the academic field of stylistics in order to create an integrated English Language and Literature course which brings together literary and non-literary discourses. We explore a variety of texts, both fiction and non-fiction, across different genres, cultures, time periods and modes. You will leave the course as an independent, critical, creative and evaluative reader and writer – skills that can be transferred to numerous lines of employment.
