Applied psychology provides students with an understanding of psychological principles and their real-world applications. It is designed to develop research, analytical, and critical thinking skills, preparing students for further study or careers in psychology-related fields.
It is structured into four units:
Unit 1 : Psychological Approaches and Applications
Unit 2: Conducting Psychological Research
Unit 3: Health Psychology
Unit 4: Psychopathology
Each year consists of one external exam in January and one piece of coursework.
