Journey into the Jungle

YEAR 4's TAKE A JOURNEY INTO THE JUNGLE

In January 2013 Miss Burns started work on a community production which would involve over 140 primary children from our linked schools, working together with students from St John Bosco Arts College.

The chosen play was ‘Journey into the Jungle’ and across 7 schools the rehearsals had started, it was very exciting for the children to be part of this event as for many of them it would be there first time on stage!

On Tuesday 12th March 2013 the children took to the stage in two performances’ that impressed parents, family, friends and school teachers.

The hard work and commitment from the children was truly outstanding and the show was a huge success. The schools were as follows:

Barlows Primary, Leamington Community Primary, Longmoor Community Primary, Monksdown Primary, Our Lady and St Swithins, Emmaus Primary and Croxteth Primary.

Well done to Caitlin Price, Mia Barton, Lesedi Tefo, Bethany Murray and Demie Donnelly from St John Bosco Arts College for a wonderful performance and making up the main cast.
