My Kitchen Rules

Year 9 Bosco Food students had an exciting visit from contestants from Sky's new competitive cookery show 'My Kitchen Rules'.

The show pits couples against each other in a series of cook-offs in their homes. Gabi & Steph, who are originally from Northern England, have been wowing judges Lorraine Pascale and Jason Atherton in the competition with their cooking style which they describe as "Italian with a Gabi & Steph twist".

They very generously offered to share their skills and recipes with St John Bosco budding chefs. Students were given demonstrations and encouraged to take part in a range of recipes including: Handmade Ravioli with 3 different fillings and Zeppoli Piccolini with a trio of sauces.

All the students thoroughly enjoyed the lesson and picked up some great new skills.
