Sixth Form Enrichment

Our outstanding Sixth Form enrichment programme grows from strength to strength. This term all our students will receive a basic cookery skills session delivered by a highly trained chef who has cooked for the Queen! Chef James has developed a bespoke programme for our students to develop their knife skills and cooking techniques. Every student will participate in a session, creating three dishes which they can take home. Not only are they developing basic life skills, at the end of the course they will all receive a recipe booklet so that they can recreate their favourite dishes whenever they wish.

Also on offer this term, the Institute of Philosophy are delivering a very prestigious 10 week programme which the students are enjoying greatly. This weeks topic was 'Would you eat a dead cat that you had run over and killed?' Other enrichment options (delivered by our highly skilled enrichment team) include; Driving Theory, History of Liverpool, Fitness, Healthy Lifestyles, Film Club, Science Masterclasses and a Drama production.

If that wasn't enough, we have the Barclays Life Skills Programme, guest speakers , careers guidance workshops, external visits and Oxbridge masterclasses. In addition some students are involved in the CISI Finance Diploma, Reading Revolutionaries, the 'Big Debate' , EPQ and work experience. How do they fit it all in?

Look out for next term ....
